The salt from the region of Guérande  is worldwide known as the “Gourmet salt”. For instance, the famous Louis XIV only accepted Guérande salt on his table. He said that the Guérande salt has a typical “violet flavour”. This reputation is still actual.

The Guérande salt is produced an the island of Guérande. You find it after the natural evaporation of the water of the sea. None mechanical act is made in order to produce this salt.

It is a natural product. It is very healthy due to the richness of oligo-elements. Analyses the Pharmacy faculty of Nantes confirm that there is many magnesium.

The salt we use has the certification: “Nature et progress” (that means “Nature and progress”). This label is controlled by an independent organism of certification.
