Quality
Our products have the certification of origin "I.G.P. Gers".

What is the I.G.P. Gers certification?

I.G.P. (Indication Géographique Protégée) Sud Ouest: this certification shows that the product is made from a duckor goose which grew up in one of the départements which constitute regions such as: Quercy, Landes, Périgord or Midi-Pyrénées.

Strict standards and regulations

During farming the animals can live outside in the fields; that makes them feel good.
The ducks are fed only with corn from the Southwest
Our specialists continuously verify the I.G.P. standards. Our products are controlled from the beginning of the animal's life until it's transformation in our factory. To obtain the I.G.P. certification, an external organism called "QUALISUD" controls the entire production chain.
Materials are classified:
- The weight of a "magret" must be over 300g
- The weight of a "foie gras" must be over 350g

Why I.G.P.?
The "foie gras" is a luxury good made with professional passion.

Since the early 90ies, you find more and more "foie gras" with the "Sud-Ouest" label. According to the law of 1905, the last place of transformation is used to indicate the origin of the product. The "Association I.G.P. Foie Gras du Sud - Ouest" was created to distinguish our products of local origin from those coming from, say, Eastern Europe: Bulgaria, Hungaria...

The association was created to protect the products from the South West of France and to communicate and assure to all "foie gras" lovers the quality of the products labelled "I.G.P. Sud - Ouest and GERS "

The I.G.P. Sud - Ouest and GERS
"Not anybody can be from the South Western of France!"
